Workshop of the World

Hi all,

I stumbled upon this today while thinking about significance... The website (workshopoftheworld.com) is basically an interactive version of the book that was published in 1990 and updated in 2007. Finally someone has cited that aerial view-1917!!!

There is also a lot of info on other nearby industrial sites, and a section on plans for the waterfront. I spent a few hours on the site-it's definitely rich with info. This guy, Torben Jenk, seems to be very involved with industrial history and the Society for Industrial Archeology that runs the site. Does anyone know of him or if talking to him might be helpful?

Take a look! See you tomorrow!
