Survey-Thought Map

I think it's useful to track where we are in the process. In preparing for public involvement in the form of a survey, I thought I would just make a thought map to review.

These are some of the things I thought would be good to survey. It's important to consider what we already know, and what we want to find out. I find that surveys work best if they really emphasize the important issues. We need to decide what those are, especially with respect to Historic Preservation. I think the existing plans which are in the course folder are a good place to start considering current issues. Independent variables are the things that influence the dependent variables. For example, if a respondent drives a car to work every day in Bucks County, it is likely to influence their view of current issues in transit, development, etc.
